Fulfilling your career desires is up to you and you alone. Yes there are outside influences that can come in to distract us, to test whether we really are committed to the outcome. These influences can be in the form of the belief about yourself, our perception of what others think about this, whether we feel that we are worthy and deserving of this outcome, and how many times we have been rejected in this instance or others. When we have experienced rejection we often look at it that we are not on the right path, however if we feel strongly and deeply we are led here for a reason, we are on the right path, we just may need to do something a little differently. As we get older we compare ourselves to others believing the deception that we are not smart enough or we don't have the resources to take us to the place that we would like to go. We all have unique gifts, experiences; ways of looking at things, and each of us are different makeup. The biggest injustice we bring to this world is trying to be a carbon copy of someone else, and not letting the true essence of who we are shine through. Fear is something that holds us back in many areas of our lives, what if I don't get into the course that I desire, the job that of applied for, so what if……… The list can go on. If you find yourself in this place the answer is pretty simple. Hold on to the vision and the dream of what you desire. This particular job or course may not be the only vehicle to get you to your desired outcome. Many, many, many, successful people who contribute greatly to this society have had knock backs on many occasions. This has given the more resolve to keep striving, as they see the big picture of what this skill and talent can bring to this world. No one can fuel the fire for you, you alone hold the key to keeping your fire going. We do spend many hours relentlessly going over what if I don't make it, what if I fail, what if I embarrass myself. These thoughts that keep going through our mind can paralyse us from stepping into our greatness. So let's look at the opposite, what if we are accepted into this program, or this new job, or this new career path. What would our life look like? How would we feel about that? Because when we actually focus on what may happen in a positive light we give more energy to the outcome being a reality. It may not show up in the way that we thought, however when we hold that vision and we focus on it daily it is amazing how things start to fall into place. Our beliefs about ourselves are the single most telling factors in determining our success and happiness in life. If you are going to follow your bliss and make a difference in the world, you will soon learn that you cannot follow the herd. Therefore, if we are holding a vision of what we want to achieve, we do need to take steps towards fulfilling that. It's all very well dreaming about something, however, inaction will rarely take us to that place. We do get caught up in what do I need to do and when that answer does not come we become stuck believing that we have made the wrong choice. If you live by the mantra “I am always in the right place at the right time”, “Life happens for me”, you will find synchronicity's popping up in the most remarkable places. So hold on to your dream your vision, and take action. By action I mean apply for that course that will help you to the next step, apply for that job that will take you down a new career path. If these positions are not available to do at this time, try again. In the meantime keep your eye open and ask for clear guidance as to what your next step will be, and to your surprise you will meet the right person that you need to connect with, or see something that will lead you to where you need to be. Back yourself in all ways, this is your plan A and Plan B. Get creative, when you are given a no, look at it as Next Opportunity. And enjoy the ride. If you find that fear is rising up and lack of confidence is holding you back, take this as a sign that there may be some underlying emotional issues that you may need to address. It is not a sign that you are not capable or not smart enough. When I'm working with my clients through these types of emotions, thoughts, and feelings, we go back and find where this issue first presented itself. It may be something we experienced as a young child, and we need to heal the beliefs that we formed at this time, for us to be able to move forward. In effect we are frozen in time, and this memory whether conscious or unconscious keeps surfacing and creating a fear inside us.
To support this process for my clients we also include the powerful addition of Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. When we are faced with fear and low self-confidence I would use the following oils with my clients, and they would incorporate them on a daily basis as part of their healing as follows. Bergamot The oil of self acceptance Bergamot relieves feelings of despair, self-judgement and low self-esteem. It supports the individual in need of self-acceptance and self-love, it also invites individuals to see life with more optimism. Bergamot has a cleansing effect on stagnant feelings and limiting belief systems. Because of individuals or beliefs of being bad, unlovable and not good enough, they seek to hide this behind a facade of cheerfulness. They may fear revealing their true thoughts and feelings. Bergamot's powerful cleansing properties generate movement in the energy systems, which in turn brings hope. It awakens the soul to hope and offers courage to share the inner self. Roman chamomile says “do what you love and everything will be a success”. Emotions addressed: purposeless, discouraged, drudgery, frustration, unsettled. Lavender The oil of communication Lavender aids verbal expression. It calms the insecurities that are felt when one risks their true thoughts and feelings. Lavender addresses a deep fear of being seen and heard. Individuals in need of lavender hide within, blocking all forms of true self-expression. Or they may even be going through the motions of outward expression; however, they’re actually holding back their innermost thoughts and feelings. The expression is not connected to the heart or soul. Lavender supports individuals in releasing the tension and constriction that stems from fear of expressing one's self. Due to past experiences they may believe it is not safe to express themselves. The true self is therefore trapped within and goes unexpressed. Strong feelings of being unlovable, unimportant, or unheard can accompany this condition. The individual’s fear of rejection paralyses their true voice and traps their feelings inside. As individuals learn to communicate their deepest thoughts and feelings, they are liberated from a self-inflicted prison. CPTG essential oils don’t do our emotional work for us; however what they do is assist us in taking and honest look within. Fostering the right environment for healing. When we are gardening, it is a common experience to pull the weeds while leaving the roots. Particularly when the ground is hard and rocky. To ensure well pull the whole weed, we can add water to the ground, which softens it and allows the entire weed to be removed. Similarly, CPTG essential oils prepare our emotional ground so the weeds may be removed with greater ease. If we neglect to do the work of pulling our weeds, we are simply just watering the problem. On the other hand, those who combine essential oils with the emotional work reap the fruit of their labor. Do you want to learn more about these amazing oils?
